I'm using an AppleVision 850 (19-inch) that was defaulting to 640x480
and it was the only resolution was that showing in the Display. The AV
850 comes with a APD cord that I connected in the APD port and I then
connected my keyboard into the APD port of the monitor and that solved
my problems. I now have all six resolutions that I should get (640x480 -
1280x1024).
Another solution that I found (but haven't tried), is to get a dip
switch, VGA adapter. This would force your monitor to the proper
resolution and bypass software display resolutions.
Hope this helps.
later,
Paul
