I naively and impulsively purchased an Adaptec 2940UW only to later learn
that my 8500/180 requires their Power Domain version. Having purchased it
dirt cheap I don't anticipate much difficulty reselling it. However, a new
PD2940U2W is beyond my budget and I was wondering if group members have any
experience and/or recommendations regarding the following options:
Formacs' "Ultra 40 SCSI" ($49.00!!....how come so cheap?) or Initio Miles'
"INI-9100UW" ($140.00).
I have two U/W drives sitting on my shelf and would like to hook them up
ASAP. Thank you in advance.
Richard
