There is no problem in upgrading an 8600 or 9600. The qmb Inline Cache is on
the Daughtercard...exactly the same as the G3's. It actually saves you the step
of having to pull the cache out of an 8500 or 9500. 8600's are awesome
machines.
OT: I'm selling an 8600/112mb/1gb/Zip-100 for $300 if anyone wants one. I have
