flip a switch or two (like on my NewerTech) but others handle it no
problem.   If you are buying new, I would not expect any problems,
but if you are buying an older (used) G3 card, confirm that it will
work in the Mach 5 machines.

A while back, I installed a Newer Maxpower G3 250/512 on an 8600/300 
here at work and it has worked fine. What switch flipping are you 
referring to?
