It is officially called the Squiggly by Wal~Mart. When I whored myself out as a
cashier for little pay and almost nonexistant benefits the would lead the floor
staff in cheers to improve "morale". One went W A L ~ (and everyone was
required to gyrate their hips to emphasis the squigglyness of it) M A R T. I
would also venture to say that it is legitamate to say that Mexicans speak
Mexican just like Americans speak American, NOT "English". Classical Textbook
Spanish is virtually useless here in Texas, cause they speak a texmex local
dialect. There are also many regional variations of so-called "Spanish" in
Florida, California, New Mexico, Arizona, just to name spots in the US.
Worldwide. An "English" speaker from Georgia and an "English" speaker from
Scotland can hardly communicate. Don't fool yourself into thinking that all the
same words mean the same things everywhere. Heck, I can hardly understand people
from North Dakota and New York, and when you go overseas to the UK a great many
words are completely different.
