The G3 tower is capable of holding and seeing 3-256 Meg DIMMs for a total of 768 megs.
The 7600 can hold and see 8-128 Meg DIMMs for a total of 1024 Megs. (256 Meg DIMMs
were never produced for the 60x series PPCs, which is too bad as the 7600 can actually
recognize 2 Gig+ of RAM.
I've seen as high as 4 Gig in some TILs.)
This is according to GURU.
