I post this as info to those on this list who use Comcast@home ,a
partner of Excite@home) ,as a cable ISP.
Today's New york Times reports that per a recent audit and report to the
SEC, Excite@home is facing facing bankruptcy. And I quote " It is
unclear what bankruptcy would mean to the cable partners and their 3.7
million cable modem subscribers"
And per an analyst, "Put butter on them,". Mr Gaw said "They're toast"
Since " a word to the wise is sufficient" I am starting to research
what other high speed internet access is available in my area. I suggest
that "you" do also
