There is a big gap between the editions of that book, tho there IS a early 
edition that goes into 1st Gen. PowerMacs....the latest one is for G3's and 
up, leaving the Spindler era machines  orphaned (I use a 7200/75 and a 
6300CD)....the original authors were better than the popular writer of the 
new edition.....this guy leaves you hanging, it's more to scare people off 
than to help.....
The term "Repair" should be dropped from ALL editions.....most is either 
software related or replace this and that hardware....
As a ex-camera repairman, I was a little embarrassed by the term being used 
on these books....

I treasure the copy at my local library.....and laughed at the new editions...

BTW__ shouldn't most of that iMAC/G3/G4 stuff be over in their area?
