What I've learned about upgrade cards leads me to belive they by-pass 
the L2 cache on your motherboard, by switching it off using a 
software extension, this allows the L2 cache on the Accelerator, to 
use it's own onboard cache instead. if you run into any problems with 
your upgrade, there technical support suggests removing the 
motherboard cache DIMM altogether.

This is one of the reasons development of L2 DIMMS never proceeded 
further then 1MB, and even those are pretty rare, So ...If anyone 
knows where I can Find one, HOLLLLLERRRR.
