folk,
i have beside my keyboard a trident PCI video card, pulled from
a comatose windoze box.
i'm interested in plugging it into a 7600, but not if it's going
to self-immolate (or kill the 7600).
it's based on the TGUI9440 chip.
trident's site (short on info) mentions only dos/win9x/os2 drivers.
i cannot tell if this is because
a) it will not work with a macintosh, or
b) it doesn't need a special extension to work.
any advice as to how to procede/experiment safely?
thanks for reading this far,
peter
