Listas I have been toying with the idea of taking my 9500/132 to the next level, OSX. Now this is simply a choice of cosmetics. The drive in question only serves as a MP3 jukebox, which is attached to my stereo system. First bone of contention: I have already installed OSX (10.0.4) on my iMac (Snow 500/1GBram) and WallStreet 292/320MBram. The iMac zooms for obvious reasons, the laptop pretty much struggles along without being too annoying. Running a 9500/132 with 96MBramhow slow are we talking. Second bone of contention: I will only ever run iTunes which uses approximately 8MB of RAM, how much extra RAM are we talking for just the OS. Somewhere I really don't want to go, since installing RAM on a 9500 is a touch inconvenient. Finally, I have installed a large IDE hard drive via a PCI controller, just another factor to deal with. In summation, does anybody out there have any input in any of the above factors. I wait with baited breath Stewart -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
