1. You can't run OSX with less than 128MB of physical RAM.
2. See #1.
3. If your IDE controller is made by Sonnet, I bet it is OSX compatible.
And if you get 10.1, I would say it wwill probably work even if it isn't
made by them. (10.1 includes TONS more low-level hardware suppourt)
