I have a seagate Seagate ST39173LC it is 80 pin and I
have an adapter.
I had Mac OS 9 on it, but it doesn't seem to want to
work with my other drive, which is a seagate
ST19171WC.
Apparently the Seagate ST39173LC came out of a gateway
computer, as it has gateway on the front of it.
These drives had no termination available, so I can't
test to see if there was a termination problem.
I tried terminating an external drive to see if that
would help, but no luck.
Has anyone had any experiences with these 80 pin
drives?
My CD-Rom has also been acting goofy, as with these
drives attached, I can not load any software from the
cd-rom, it freezes.
