Just remember three things about swapping in new CD-ROMs: 1) You may have to get a copy of CD-ROM Toolkit or the Intech driver to run a non-Apple ROM CD-ROM. 2) There is a hacked copy of the Apple CD-ROM driver floating about that allows you to run many non-Apple CD-ROMs without purchasing a third-party driver. 3) Buy new whenever possible.
