It shouldnt but you want to make sure that termination for the drive is 
off and if it is a scsi 2 or 3 connection 68-80pin you may need an 
adapter to connect it internally depending on the computer you have 
(hooking a level 2 or 3 scsi up to a 50pin scsi level 1 is opointless, 
you lose too much speed).
