You've found out that the file had the disallow printing security
option, but what PDF version is it? You find this with a <cmd><d>.

You may be able to circumvent the no printing by using an alternate PDF
viewer. I believe there is a Mac version of GSView. That *may* either
let you print directly or let you save the file as raw PostScript which
you can "dump" to an appropriate printer.

Someone recommended you can open PDFs in Illustrator. This is true, but
in my experience, Illustrator honors the sucurity settings and won't
print it either. Similarly, you can place PDFs in PageMaker 6.5 and
later or in InDesign. I'm not sure how successful printing would be from
there (though I'd guess you could only print to a PostScript device).

Have you tried it on a machine running OS X?
