Nope. The G3/266 is a ZIF. Which means that it is the processor alone. It
would work if you bought a carrier card. The carrier card fits into the
daughtercard slot on the 7600, and then the ZIF is inserted into the Carrier.
It's a great way to upgrade. That way if you want to go higher than 266 in the
future you already have the carrier card, you just pop that 266 ZIF out and pop
in a 500.
