One thing people have to realize is that plopping a card upgrade in your
machine will not give you the speed enhancement you expect. You are still
limited by bus speed. It is a bottleneck. PC technology is just blowing
away the Macs here. RISC processor, OS whatever; you still gotta ride the
Bus !
