I started this thread. I downloaded Netscape 6.1 from the basic
installer (it installs automatically after the 2-hour download). So
far, it doesn't work - crashes with an "Error of Type 1" message. I
have a Mac 7300 upgraded to G3/400, OS 8.6.
Fortunately, I left my Netscape 4.76 on the HD and it still works
fine. I haven't decided whether or not to dump 6.1 or keep playing
with it.
