This response to your post was entirely copied and pasted using Eudora 5.1. I've never experienced the problem you describe. What are you using to do your email? I'm pretty sure that's where your problem lies, and not with the list or its servers. If you're concerned with misquoting, the obvious thing to do is to just reply to the original, editing out anything (especially the header and footers!) that you don't want included.
