Did you check the cables for broken and/or loose pins? If the monitor has
color adjusts, try that. You can probly also use Colorsync (In the
Monitors and Sound CP under the Color panel click the Calibrate btton and
be sure to check the Show Extra Options box) to balance the color out. On
my monitor there is a reset button. If you have one push it to reset to
the factory settings. Be aware, however, that if your screen seems to be
> missing one of the primary colors < then it is highly likely that one of the
Electron guns in the CRT itself has (most likely the blue one) and, in
general, it will cost almost as much as a nicer new monitor to fix a
broken CRT type display...for example a client bought a display from us
for $200 and the red electron gun went out and TechSolutions told us it
would be a $400 fix. So, you could have the display checked for that, but
if it is an EM gun,I would scrap the sucker and take the opportunity to
go buy a nice new 19" monitor!
