I have a iMac image of OS9.04 (then upgraded to OS9.1) from the iMac CD's
that I have (I hold the license, it is legal, just a customized image of).
The software came from an iMac that was purchased to install Linux on for a
test platform. Everything works great, except the games, they won't, they
are "aware" of the different machine (lack of G3?).
I have never had issues when I upgraded to OS9.1, (At first the sound
control panel was hokey)
This worked on my 9500, I tried to install it on my laptop (3400) and it
refuses to run. Does that disk need a faster than 2X CD-Rom (all I have is
an external CD)? If I boot from the OS8.1 floppy and then try to install it
seems to run fine.
