I just checked the setiathome Website and noticed that the average
Mac time to complete a SETI Unit is about 17 hours. I'm averaging
between 40 and 45 hours per unit on my Mac 7300 that's upgraded to
G3/400 with OS 8.6, 248MB RAM. I'd like to find out if my machine is
abnormally slow or if this is typical for this type machine.
Seventeen hours AVERAGE seems mighty fast unless a large number of
setiathome users have G4/733s or whatever topend Macs. Feedback?
