Actually, it won't give you much of a difference. This also applies if you even play games, as on the Mac platform, 32 megs of VRAM is MORE than enough to run the hottest games, providing you have enough "actual RAM". I've got the 32 meg VRAM Radeon and sounded just like you before I bought it, "don't really play games, just design work. . ." Believe me, when you see what these cards can do, you're going to find yourself shopping for cool games without even realizing it!! Hope this helps!
