One thing to confirm is that ALL of your drives are using the same disk driver. When you install the OS, it will only update the driver on the disk you are installing on. If you have multiple disks, you have to manually update all of the other disks. Of course, BACK UP YOUR DATA BEFORE updating the drivers.
