http://www.jmug.org/ soon I haven't finished yet. I think it has the 9500, but I forgot. My computer with the original is in for repair... Things I always forget: * power switch at the front * CPU card * video card >I have a PC Zoom 56k serial modem. Where would I go for a mac serial cable >for it? So I have to flash the bios on the modem or anything before I can >use it in the mac? The 7300 looks a little battered especially the case >which seem a little fragile around the front. So I'm starting to think of >keeping the 9500 instead of the 7300. Someone suggested that OSX likes the >9500 better than the 7300, so theres as good a reasons any so stick with >that. This is because the 7300 doesn't have great onboard video. The 9500 doesnt have onboard video, and the stock card is nicer than the 7300s BIV. Other than that, no difference. I'm on a 9500 here thats been pretty good to me. I say pretty good because it only has a 1gig drive and 64MB RAM, where I'm used to a Blue G3/450 with quite a bit of RAM and Ultra2Wide hard disks. It'll be for sale/trade fairly soon... I hope.
