Just for the hell of it, heres the problem I'm working with limited success. I'm going to designate a vector with a ~ after it. So "Vector A" will be abbreviated "a~". la~ indicates scalar l multiplied by vector a, a~b~ indicates vector a multiplied by vector b, etc
"Show that three vectors a~, b~, c~ lie in the samew plane through the origin if and only if there are three scalars l, m, n, not all zero, such that la~+mb~+nc~=0~." I've got about two pages of pretty pictures and incorrect math so far. I stepped into a room at the end of a proof to this and it took up a whole 18' blackboard...
