I always start from the top and take loose all the
cables attached to the motherboard.

Left out a step.

Squeeze the tabs and tilt the fan out, and unplug the
power wire for the fan, pull out any cards and cpu.

The off/on switch also has little tabs that lock it in
and slides against the mother board.

Also there is a screw in the center of the motherboard
(phillips) which you have to unscrew.

Try sliding it towards the front of the machine after
loosening all this, it will only go about a 1/4" of an
inch or so.

Then you should be able to tilt it from the top,
carefully and slide towards the front and guide it
out.
