I just did a complete clean install of system. In fact, I just reinitialized my original hard drive, as I added a new hard drive and used Raid on them, as a mirror with half the original drive for the system and as a striped Raid for Photoshop scratch. New memory added, too. But I had tried using PS 6 just before I ordered the memory and drive and it wouldn't scan then either. That's why I figured I needed to order the memory in the first place.
