What a great idea! But it wouldn't be so much a sister site as the red-headead, step-sister site (mama is a redhead and there's enough of that in me I guess I can say that.....).
Will there be a swap list for this area Dan? There's no reason NOT to use a PII machine for web browsing. The ONLY thing Win and Tel did right was integrate Explorer, so while the rest of the software is cumbersome, IE and OE are quick and dirty solutions. PIIs are cheap, they work great as web and e-mail machines, and if there's one way to secure your work on your Power Mac, it's to keep it off the net to begin with!! So a suggestion for the site: emphasis on finding solid, cheap Wintels, using them on the net and networking them to Macs for file transfers, blase blase blase......Chiming in on affirmation.......All the best........... --- Dan Knight <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I love Macs.
