hello I'm looking for people using a FireWire+USB PCI card with a MOTU 828 audio interface. What brand of card works? Have any been proven not to work?
I plan to buy two such cards, to share the 828 between a 20th Anniversary Macintosh (TAM) G3/500 and a 9500/G3-400. So far I know offerings exist from vendors Orange Micro, and Sonnet. The Sonnet Tango is the likely candidate, because Sonnet's card specifically supports my TAM. Also, the TAM's G3 accelerator is a Sonnet, so any potential tech support would not be shuffled to another vendor. -- m. g. gadzikowski | [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
