Not really. I have a 7200/90 running 9.1 very stable, but extremely slow.
(grandkids don't notice too much, mostly just playing games. I use an ext.
drive solely for virtual mem and it does better. I also am using this
8500/132 with 256 MB,no VM,9.1, and it is both stable and clocks out to
spec.
