The 9600 had 6 PCI and 12 RAM slots available and on-board video. The 
later-rev B&W G3s could probably accept a total of 5 3.5 inch drives and 
one 5.25. Of those, one would have shipped with a hard drive, one with a 
CD/DVD ROM drive and, optionally, one with a zip.
