>I have a Sonnet Tempo Ultra ATA66 card... ATA100 specs. Does that matter?
An ATA100 drive will act only as fast as an ATA66 on the Sonnet Tempo. I use a Conner 10G ATA100 drive on the Tempo controller. Macbench 5 says it's mostly 2x the performance of my narrow SCSI drives in the same 9500, and peer or better to the ATA66 Toshiba 30G 2.5" drive in my 20th Anniversary Mac. -- m. g. gadzikowski | [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
