James, I just installed a Sonnet G3 400/512k card into my PM7600/132. The installation was dead easy, and the speed of applications is noticably improved. For me it was plug and play, no fiddling, no problems. If you'd rather upgrade rather than buy new(er), then I say, go for it! Don't forget, though, that the card won't improve your system bus speed.
