yes you can. Run the 9.1 installer and when it asks you if you are 
reinstalling or adding/removing, pick add. Then, select the Mac OS 9.1 
install and pick Custom Install. The Monitors and Sound CP's will be 
under the Control Panels listing. Hope this helps.
