Hi all,

I am giving the info on the setup of the 9.2.1 Os on my PM7600
w/G3-400mhz upgrade(joecard),running Met@box control panel, instead of the
xlr8 software, more stable with the dang amount of ram I have. I will be
doing some more upgrades to this in the next two weeks with a new set of
drives. 896 meg ram.

First I downloaded a copy of macidwannabe, changed the machine number to
501. Went to where I have 9.2.1 on my other drive and unstuffed it, once
ready to go I started the install.
Loaded it on, but did not use the option of restart, in fact I did a
force quit, well it locekd up the machine, yes I know many of you have asked
if it cn be done to this types of Mac setups. So far so good. Well before I
hit the kill button, I put into the cd drive my copy of OS 9.0 then restart
and go with the cd bing startup.
Once running on the cd, I opened the normal start drive, open the system
folder, and swapped the suitcase bacup I had so I wouldn't crash on startup.
I would still also suggest you make a backup copy for good lusk. In case
you oopsed. I just had to prove to myself that it could be done. I have only
had it on less then 24 hours. I'll will be seeing if the bad info I had
heard is true on the 3dfx voodoo3 3000, and open gl or carblib.
I can also bet all this info is in the FAG too.

                                        Bruce
