This was demonstrated in a class I took about 8 years ago, although I 
don't remember much about it. I believe video spigot was used to 
capture video from a camcorder (maybe television also) to display 
onto the computer as a quicktime movie. I did find a tip sheet for 
using it, although I didn't find anything describing it, in my 
enormous archive of old Mac info, most of which concerns educational 
technology. I scanned the article in photoshop and saved as a jpeg 
file, which I'm sending to your e-mail address. Hope it helps.
