For some reason Apple has started putting little things like this in
the Apple Extra's folder; like the graphic's calculator. If I
remember, didn't they also put an alias of the CD player in the
Apple's Folder but they did add the "open CD player in the control
strip which is nice.

Although, another subject but somewhat related. I'm surprised that
they haven't added features like Finderpop to Mac OS 9.1. He should
win an award for this control panel. You can have Apple menus
everywhere. If you click on an empty area on the menu bar, while you
have an application open, Finderpop opens, and not just on the
Desktop as some think. I actually put an alias of the Apple Menu to
quickly have access to it but it end's up working as good. It's
great to put programs you use over and over there. Why pay $25 for
the overpriced alias menu when this program is free. I never thought
to bring this up when someone suggested to purchase it when I
couldn't use PPPmenu in OS 9.1. It's so convenient to click on a
folder and have all it's contents viewable; even Stuffit archives are
viewable with Finderpop. The control is just great. Contextual menus,
it seems, has not been used that much but I like them.
