Having problems doing the OS 10.1 update on my 7500. I have replaced
my drives with two IDE drives running off a Sonnet ATA controler.
Sonnet tech support suggested that I terminate my internal CD since I
have other devices connected to THAT SCSI chain. I do however an
external LaCie CD burner connected, whether that makes a difference
or not. It's the original Apple CD, 600i, how do I set the jumpers
to terminate? Or should I?

Another question. Evidently when I was partitioning the drives,
there was an extra (5k) partition created. Now every time I restart,
I get a dialog asking me to initialize (that drive partition), but
when I try, it says I can't because the 'disk is locked', how do I
get rid of it?

Thanks
J.J.
