Sorry I'm adding so late to thread. Just trying to catch up to late 
messages (about 400 or so). I have USB card for 9600/233 running 8.6 
and had no problem running Wacom tablet. However, when I added 
printer to 2-port card, tablet didn't work and error message said not 
enough power. Since I had another printer to add and needed more 
ports anyway, I bought a powered hub and attached it to card. No 
problem running Wacom tablet, 2 printers, camera card reader, 
trackball now.
