Greetings all,

I am a very happy owner of my first ever Mac computer. It's a Powermac 9600,
300 Mhz, 128 megs ram, 4 gigs HD running Mac OS 9.1 .. I've been able to use
my PC LCD display with it and so far haven't encountered any problems. I
want to make some minor upgrades to this box right now (more substantial
upgrades later.. like a g3 daughter card).

First one.. after doing some research online I discovered that this computer
uses "64 or 128 70ns DIMM" memory. What kind of cash are we looking at here
for some ram like that (I'm assuming it isn't manufactured anymore since the
newer macs use normal PC133 ram)? I would like to upgrade it to atleast 256
megs if not more.

Secondly, this computer doesn't have any USB ports. I have a Logitech 2
button optical mouse which I use on one of my PC's. Will I be able to use
this mouse on a mac (again I'm assuming there are drivers for it since
they're common mice) or will I need a special mac USB mouse. And can someone
recommend a cheap/good USB PCI card which will work with this powermac?

That's all for now, I would appreciate any help or information regarding
these inquiries. Thanks in advance.
