Since I am using my new to me 9600 to run the printer it is now on topic? :-)
I have a LaserWriter 12/640 PS and have notice it will take 64 MB memory via 2 - 23 MB 72 pin SIMM's. Does anyone know if I can use the 2 - 32 MB SIMM's from my 6100? Or is there some sort of restriction on the memory this machine can use? Just had to ask as I know the LW Pro 630 does have a one sided SIMM restriction with one slot..... Sorry for the question but apple spec online for legacy gear is not giving me any info..... only things made after Nov 97 are listed http://www.info.apple.com/support/applespec.html and the older products link seems broken.....
