It could be that when you installed the 60GB drive, you formatted it as
on huge partition instead of several smaller ones. The larger the
partition, the larger the file allocation blocks are. So if you copy a 1k
file from a 1GB drive, it may become a 20k file on your larger drive. I
know, it sux.
