Well the name on my box is Bridge Adapter. It still don't change tha
fact that they are all (including the external enclosures) covered under
the SCSIDE technology umbrella.

They aren't on mine either but my vendor and ACARD's website refer to
the product family as SCSIDE.

Yes. Same on mine, although I think mine is a European language package.

I'm afraid I didn't get a choice. I live in the UK and we only have one
ACARD vendor who only sell a few of these puppies. I had to get the
generic version as it sells more so they have those not the Mac version.
Either way it wasn't a major pain, ROM flashing isn't exactly rocket
science if you follow the basic safety rules. "And there is no more
important safety rule than to wear these <points to glasses>, saftey
glasses" - for those of you who know of Norm Abram.

Mine also works like a dream once I 'adjusted' the BIOS. :).

Also remember we are talking about 2 slightly different products, mine
is the plug-on-the drive-back type. Yours IIRC are tray types right?
And to cap it all I slipped off my chair when I lent back to grab the
box for my ACARD adapter and punched the corner of my Hi-Fi, cutting a
hole in my thumb, I'm off to get a plaster (band-aid!!) before I get
blood on my iBook. I cut my middle finger lifting my mom's freezer today
too - what a day :).
