Thanks to everyone who provided insight into my problem. By taking snippits and seed ideas from several replys I was finally able to bluff my way into the Crescendo. I used a Zip which I installed 8.5 and hand stripped what I knew I wouldn't need. I of course did have to include the Sonnet extension which I ended up just dragging over. (Every time I installed it via the official floppy, the result would stall as discribed in my first post go figure!) I also included the minimal system enabler which I found in the floppy installerfor good measure. This all went into creating the magic which allowed the Zip to boot. I have now managed to get a clean bill of health from Mr. Norton.
Thanks again everybody. Don ===== Don & Kathy Wakefield DTPetc! (Desktop Productions et cetera!) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
