Dear Listers, I'm having trouble with my Cable Modem connection to Optus@home. They are trying to tell me I have an intermittant fault with my Ethernet Card. He didn't want to know that it's not an ethernet card but an ethernet port, maybe it doesn't matter.
Question: is there a way I can test my ethernet port without the obvious of connecting to another mac/pc and setting up a network?
