Pam,

"No disk" in the reader if it's blank, but knows when there's a standard CD
inserted? Odd. And it's the same brand of blank media as before? I was going
to say make sure your version of Toast is compatible with 9.04. It should
already be, but you never know.

I'd also consult Roxio's or Yamaha's sites for help.  Or maybe your burner
is dying and it's just a coincidence. Perhaps do a temporary install of 8.6
to confirm all is still well running under the older OS.
