In a manner of speaking. It has an ugly hacked-on USB addition that
Microsoft wrote. Rather like USB in MacOS 8.1, it generally works for minor
things like mice and keyboards, but major devices are hit and miss. I got
one USB printer working, another just wouldn't. I never have gotten a USB
hard drive case working. It never even responded to a USB CD Burner we
tried at work, nor a USB DSL Modem (Efficient Networks, Inc Speedstream 3060).

In other words, if you absolutely are stuck with Win95 it's worth a try,
but with Win98 being available for $30-$60 (if you wait for the right
chance) on eBay very regularly, it's not that hard to move up. If you have
a low-end machine, then run 98lite from http://www.98lite.net which gives
you all that bug fixes and enhancements of Win98 (USB), but the speed and
relative stability of Win95 because it removes IE.

Also I think the version of Win95 that added USB from the factory was
OSR2.1, then there was OSR2.5 which was also called OSR-C which included
IE4... or something. I've never felt the need to research and it's a silly
thing to worry about anyway ;)
