Radio Stations on the internet use a variety of streaming services. You have to get the appropriate player for the radio station you want to listen to..... If they only offer Real media, you have to get Real Player. If they only offer Windows Media, you have to get Windows Media Player. If they only offer Quicktime, you have to get Quicktime Player (should already have this). Will QuickTime 5 work? Sure...... if the station is streaming in QuickTime format. The biggest problem facing internet media streaming is the number of technologies out there. Until the industry settles down and picks one, or sites get better at providing streams in all 3, Internet streaming is going to languish. Streams CAN be created that can be listened/viewed in any of the 3 players, but it makes the stream virtually unviewable, so no one bothers. If you check out KANU-FM's website, you'll be able to see what they require to listen.....RealAudio. I didn't have any problem starting their stream in Real Player, either. -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
